Assistance to the Contracting Authority or Project Owner
This involves supporting the client (contracting authority or project owner) from design to the acceptance of the work. The ACA (Assistant to the contracting authority) contributes to the drafting of specifications, calls for tenders, and to the selection of participants based on the required level of technicality, regulatory standards, budget, and timeline, among other factors. Its role is to assist the client throughout the project with its expertise in construction and/or project management experience, as well as to connect and coordinate all stakeholders involved in the project. In this ACA role, we provide our know-how, communication skills, technical expertise, and our sense of responsibility and interpersonal relationships.
2. Project, Coordination and Scheduling (PCS)
This is also a hands-on role, as our team, particularly the site manager and foreman, are present on-site to ensure daily adherence to the schedule. We check that the workforce from the companies is on-site, that joint inspection visits and safety briefings are conducted within the allotted time, and that the work is prioritized and organized both administratively and practically. This role is crucial on a construction site, as the PCS must regularly collect and relay information about the progress of the work. At this stage, our ability to communicate and our sense of responsibility are key assets, as it involves engaging and managing both human and material resources. Additionally, our creativity and ingenuity can prove more than necessary in finding pragmatic solutions.
3. Consulting and other Services
BUILD ON also serves as a consultant, as our experience and expertise have grown through various assignments. We offer legal consulting services, including the review and verification of leases and real estate contracts, drafting specifications, preparing calls for tenders, selecting companies, searching for premises, managing relocations, handling warranties and insurance, and interior decoration, to name a few.
